TransLink in Vancouver, Canada teamed up with Bikeep and regional partner Urban Racks to offer the best and most convenient multimodal transport experience available. By parking their bike securely at the station, commuters can continue their journey by train without the hassle of bringing bicycles on board — keeping transit vehicles clear while enabling seamless, bike-integrated commutes.
The partnership introduces smart IoT-enabled bike lockers at TransLink stations, allowing cyclists to lock and access their bikes using a mobile app or transit card. The connected infrastructure gives both commuters and transit operators real-time visibility into parking availability and usage, making it easier to plan and manage multimodal journeys.
This deployment reflects a growing trend among transit agencies to invest in secure, technology-driven first- and last-mile cycling solutions. By bridging the gap between cycling and public transit, TransLink and Bikeep are working to reduce car dependency and encourage more sustainable urban mobility.

Mass Transit Magazine covers the cooperation between Bikeep and FABB, featuring the launch of app-activated, zero bike theft smart parking racks at Reston Town Center with Boston Properties.

The new Bikeep Smart Socket tackles e-bike fire safety in shared bike rooms with one-button activation, an automatic 4-hour shut-off, and zero app or Wi-Fi setup required.
